2. School Tour and Open House 

Herndon Montessori School offers school tours during normal working hours  (by appointment only) and walk-in open house events (generally weekends). These occasions provide an opportunity to: 

 

  • Explore the classroom setup and materials
  • Meet the Director, Assistant Director and other teaching staff
  • Observe interactions between children and educators

This experience will help you assess whether the school’s environment aligns with your expectations.

3. Application Submission

Q . What safety protocols are in place for drop-off and pick-up?
A : We have our Front Lobby as a designated drop-off and pick-up area, which is monitored by staff at all times.  These Parents are required to Check in and out, and we only release children to authorized adults.
Q . How does the preschool ensure a secure environment?
A : All entry points are secured, and access is restricted to authorized personnel. We have security cameras in common areas and regular safety audits. Our primary entrance doors are locked between morning drop off and evening pick up times.
Q . What training do staff members receive regarding safety?

A : All our staff undergoes extensive training in first aid, CPR, emergency response, and child safety practices. Regular drills are conducted and documented to ensure preparedness.
